What We Accept

• Furniture – primarily accent pieces, such as desks, chairs, dining sets, chests, small tables and cabinets, and some upholstered pieces depending on space available in the store. Inquire when you phone for an appointment.
• Rugs – quality contemporary and antique, size depending on space available.
• Art – paintings, drawings, works on paper, sculpture, etc. In display condition.
• Art glass
• Decorative accessories such as lamps, pillows, mirrors, wall hangings, etc.
• Collectibles such as plates, ornaments, glass, majolica, etc.
• Home goods such as dishes, crystal, vases, silver flatware and serving pieces, etc.

Sorry, we do not accept office furniture, bed linen, electrical appliances, knives or any kind of computer equipment or accessories.

Transport. We will often pick up donated items and can help you arrange transport, at your expense, on consigned goods.

Consignment and Donation Terms. The first step is to email pictures to designingwomenboutique@comcast.net. Or you can mail or hand deliver prints to the shop at 1226 N. Tamiami Trail (at 13th St.), Sarasota, FL 34236.  If we can consign your item(s), we will schedule an appointment.

Terms are the same as for fashion; click here to review. It may be possible to make special arrangements for high value or unique items; please inquire when you phone or during your consignment appointment.
