Upcoming Events: 2013 2nd Annual Runway Show, December 5, 2013 at Designing Women Boutique Join us for the edgiest event in town. Designing Daughters plans to top its efforts last year in putting on a vibrant fashion show showcasing international trends in honor of Designing Women Boutique's Fashion Week. Planttogs.com and others will be bringing amazing fashions to the States this year direct from international runways. About Us Designing Daughters was launched in 2009 by Shelley Lister and Nikki Taylor to be part of Designing Women Boutique. The group is made up of an impressive list of local young and influential women who will become the next generation of philanthropists in the community. Designing Daughters’ primary goal is to support the mission of Designing Women Boutique through its own fundraising efforts and donations to Designing Women.

Past Events: May 2013 3rd Annual Fashionable Gala May 17, 2013 8-12 PM at The Francis/Louie's Modern on Palm Avenue, Downtown Sarasota Join Designing Daughters and most fashionable crowd of the season competing for awards like “Best Dressed” and “Best Shoes”—along with fabulous auction items that we anticipate will surpass even those of last year. In addition to the great company, wonderful hors d’oeuvres, light bites, drinks and signature cocktails, we also have a few surprises up our (extremely chic) sleeves that you will have to attend the event to discover. Michael’s on East is donating a percentage of beverage sales in the restaurants lounge every Monday night from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. to Designing Daughters. October 17, 2012: Ladies and Lager II at Darwin’s On 4th Sample the best brews and delicious food at Darwin’s on 4th. Darwin’s will be donating a percentage of sales that evening to Designing Daughters. This promises to be a casual evening with great company! November 21, 2012: Polo Grill's Second Annual Celebrity Bartending Come and enjoy! Designing Daughters will be preparing some of your favorite festive drinks while giving back to the community. All tips will be donated to Designing Daughters to further their mission. It’s the night before a holiday, so it is sure to be a great evening of fun in Lakewood Ranch! November 29, 2012: Planettogs Runway Show at Designing Women Boutique Planettogs.com is partnering with Designing Daughters to put on a vibrant fashion show showcasing international trends in honor of Designing Women’s Boutique Fashion Week. Planttogs.com will be bringing amazing fashions to the States this year direct from international runways. The Liquor Locker and State Street Eating House will underwrite the cocktail party that immediately precedes the show, so expect the best in cocktails, inspired hors d’oeuvres, and company.
