WHO WE ARE

Designing Women Boutique is one of Sarasota's newest, most exciting and most creative charitable endeavors. The brainchild of founder and President Jean Allenby Weidner and co-founders Diane Roskamp and Margaret Wise, the shop is a 501-c-3 that recycles fine fashions, home furnishing accent pieces, antiques and accessories into funds to benefit the community.

The founders of Designing Women Boutique conceived it as a way to create an ongoing revenue stream to benefit the community – an alternative to the one day (or night) events that populate the Sarasota social calendar. They set out to establish a new standard in quality, fashion consignment, both in terms of the merchandise featured and the design and furnishing of the boutique itself. With active leadership by the founders, the business is run by Executive Director/ Store Manager, Pamela Day supported by a corps of talented, committed volunteers.
